Meet the Team
at Deissner Law Office

Dustin Deissner, Attorney

Since grade school, Attorney Dustin Deissner knew he was going to be a lawyer. Well, that's what his friends told him anyway. Though he couldn't see it then, practicing law was exactly what Dustin was destined to do with his life. Now, nearly 40 years in the game, Dustin has helped numerous people throughout Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho with his services. Whether it's personal injury, social security disability, filing Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, or assisting with Wills and Probate, Dustin has the skills and passion for helping his clients reclaim their peace of mind and regain hope in their future.

Gonzaga University

Dustin received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Gonzaga University in 1976, where he had the highest GPA of all students within his major and received the John Quincy Adams Oratory Award. After graduating, he had every intention of continuing his education in accounting until he took a short-term gig working at a personal injury law firm. The job changed the trajectory of his career, and he fell in love with the idea of practicing law himself.

Gonzaga School of Law

Instead of working in accounting, Dustin went on to Gonzaga School of Law and performed exceedingly well. He earned his Juris Doctor from Gonzaga University School of Law in 1980. During his time as a student, Dustin was an Associate Editor for the university law review and graduated with honors, second in his class overall. He also won the Linden Cup, an oral appellate advocacy competition run by the student body.

Bar Association Admissions and Law Firm Experience

After graduating, Dustin went on to get admitted to several bar associations, including those of Washington, Colorado, and the U.S. District Court District of Idaho, among others. He built his skills as an attorney by working for other firms like Robert Anderson Law Office, Carl Maxey Law Office, and Van Camp & Bennion. Dustin even served as an adjunct professor at Phillips College, where he taught Legal Research and Writing.

Values and Goals

Always humble and full of a servant's heart, Dustin believes that what he does is simply a way of doing some good for the world. Be it helping people seek justice and get the full, fair compensation they deserve or being an aid for those trying to find their footing with their finances, Dustin knows how to help you get on the right track. He values the dollar of the hardworking people he serves and aims to keep his fees low. With him, there's no need to be worried or anxious. Dustin has what it takes to relieve your burden during stressful situations.
